Replacing Your Car's AC Compressor

The compressor is powered by a serpentine belt, which provides the energy needed to compress freon refrigerant to cool the car's cabin. I needed to have a brake light bulb replaced. It was a Saturday afternoon and I stopped to check if they were open. Went to the door and it was locked so I started to leave and someone came out and ask what I needed. I told them and then he took a look at it and went back inside and came out with a new bulb and replaced it. I ask him what I owed and he did not charge anything.
